Make a real and lasting impact on your community. Please consider the following steps:
Be informed. Browse WAA's website to find information about domestic violence and city resources to help yourself or someone you know.
Hold a fundraising party or public awareness event. Learn more about how you can get creative while both raising awareness and funds to support Women Against Abuse!
Participate in events. Our events aim to raise awareness in a setting that is friendly and welcoming. Events include film screenings, fundraisers, happy hours, lectures and more! Sign up for our email alerts or follow us on Facebook/Twitter for live updates about upcoming events.
Sign iPledge. Learn about our public awareness campaign and why we want you to sign the pledge!
Sign up for our e-newsletter. We send emails two to four times a month with updates, upcoming events, legislative news, advocacy efforts, and opportunities for feedback. Sign up here.
Share with friends. Pass on these resources to all your friends and family, whether you have any concerns about them or not. Everyone needs to know that there are organizations working to help people experiencing domestic violence seek safety, even in the most difficult of times.
Make a donation or gift. Our online donate page makes it easy to make a gift of any amount at any time. Also use this page to make a $10 donation for an iPledge t-shirt! Learn how your gift supports our services by visiting our annual report.
