Davis is a partner at Morgan Lewis where she also serves as co-chair of the national Traditional Labor Practice and Assistant Practice Group Manager for Labor and Employment Practice for Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
“My mother was a victim of domestic violence, so I grew up in that milieu,” Davis explained. “I have always been very dedicated to the cause. Working with Women Against Abuse is a good way of combining what I do and providing service for something I believe in.”
Davis gives advice and counsel involving the unionized work force at Women Against Abuse. She has taken on many roles in her pro bono work, including negotiating collective bargaining agreements, trying arbitration cases, and handling unfair labor practices that have come up over the years.
“A lot of people are reluctant to do pro bono work because it might not be in their precise area of expertise, but I am giving advice that I give all the time,” Davis said. “It’s very comfortable and it makes me feel good that I am helping a cause I truly believe in.”
